
Namuna College of Fashion Technology (NCFT) recently conducted the pre-judgment session for its highly anticipated 20th Graduation Fashion Show, “Vividhāyana Saundaryam.” A total of 62 graduating designers presented preview segments of their collections, which will be showcased at the grand finale on March 28, 2026, at The Plaza. Held at the college premises, the pre-judgment session served as a crucial evaluation stage where students presented their inspirations, creative processes, and technical executions before an esteemed panel of judges.
The session provided an opportunity for constructive feedback and refinement ahead of the final showcase. The collections reflected a thoughtful blend of traditional craftsmanship, contemporary aesthetics, and innovative design approaches. Through detailed PowerPoint presentations, students explained their concept development, material selection, garment construction techniques, and overall design evolution.

The distinguished panel of judges included Kiran Prakash Saakha, Chairman of Saakha Group; Prof. Dr. Jayalaxmi Pradhan, Campus Chief of Padma Kanya Multiple Campus; and fashion educator Rajendra Singh. The event was conducted in the presence of NCFT’s Founder Principal, Gyani Shova Tuladhar, and Vice-Principal, Jeebeswor Lal Shrestha. The judges offered valuable insights and professional critiques, helping students refine their collections for the final presentation.

The 20th Graduation Fashion Show, Vividhāyana Saundaryam, is designed as a celebration of Nepal’s diverse natural beauty including forests, wetlands, mountains, flora, fauna, and landscapes transforming the runway into a vivid narrative of nature. Rooted in the idea that beauty emerges from diversity, the showcase will feature six thematic collections comprising 62 exclusive designer outfits along with six special creative designs. Each collection reflects a balance between nature, culture, and contemporary fashion, while also promoting awareness of environmental conservation.

The show will present the work of 62 graduating designers in six sequences, performed by 6 male and 26 female professional models. The runway choreography will be led by internationally recognized media personality and fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya, ensuring a visually compelling presentation.
Among the featured collections is “NEPALIUM: Where Ice Finds Its Flow,” will be presented by Anita Bamjan, Suyasha Bhattarai, Sangita Balampaki Magar, Ranjita Lama, Dipa Limbu, Samjhana Chaudhary, Saraswoti Singh, Pratibha Chaudhary, Dikshya Adhikari, Pratima Gurung, and Jyoti Rai.
“Iridescent Shells: Armor Softened by Elegance,” will showcase creations by Menuka Roka, Ashmita Shrestha, Juna Thapa, Aeesorya Pun, Amita Thapa Magar, Smarika Timilsina, Puspa Kandel, Kashish Shrestha, Kabita BK, and Sushmita Ghising.
“Aviora: Wings of the Himalaya,” features designs by Nilima Dahal, Selina Shakya, Pramila Sinjapati, Alisha Mukhiya, Niketa Maharjan, Prakash Sapkota, Priyanka Mehta, Basanta Thapa Magar, Purnima Sen, and Asmita Ghimire.
“Aavaran Mrittika: Beneath, Beyond, Becoming,” will present works by Riya Shrestha, Sushmita Maharjan, Soniya Maharjan, Tisa Maharjan, Sandhya Niraula, Aarati Giri, Amie Shrestha, Rojina Khatri, Anusha Suwal, and Kaushal Mote.
“Red List Reverie,” will showcase designs by Sammridhi Maharjan, Swastika Shrestha, Isha Maharjan, Amrita Limbu, Astha Phuyal, Rojilina Shrestha, Prerana Neupane, Ritisha Khadka, Anusuya Gurung, and Diya Gurung.
“Vanaspati Kusum: Forest Blooms of Nepal,” will present creations by Aashish Sharma, Kriti Limbu, Prajwal Chaudhary, Neha Chaudhary, Kamakshi Thapa, Manisha Sinjapati, Leena Acharya, Preeti Kumari, Shristee Dhakal, Divyana Limbu, and Neetu Kathayat. Together, these collections convey narratives of resilience, transformation, imagination, environmental awareness, and Nepal’s rich biodiversity.
According to the college administration, the marks obtained during the pre-judgment session will contribute to the final evaluation during the graduation show. The combined scores will be published by Purbanchal University under the subject Fashion Show, a core component of the End Semester Board Examinations for the Bachelor of Fashion Design and Management (BFDM) program. This system ensures a comprehensive and fair assessment based on both conceptual development and final execution.
The event is supported by Radha Krishna Jewellers, American Language Center, and LIM College as silver sponsors. Hair and makeup will be managed by ISAS Beauty School.
