Models have been officially selected for the grand graduation fashion show विविधायन सौन्दर्यम् (Vividhāyana Saundaryam): Journey of Fashion XX, which will be held on 28th March 2026 (Chaitra 14, 2082) at The Plaza, Jhamsikhel.
The event is organized by the 20th graduating batch of Namuna College of Fashion Technology and is planned as a colorful celebration of Nepal’s rich biodiversity. Through fashion, the show will present the beauty of Nepal’s forests, wetlands, mountains, flowers, animals, and natural landscapes, turning the runway into a creative story of nature.
Based on the idea that beauty is born from diversity, the showcase will feature six different collections with 62 exclusive designer outfits and six special creative designs, each showing a balance between nature, culture, and modern style.
The designs will use shapes, fabrics, colors, and details inspired by various elements of bio diversity of Nepal, while also spreading awareness about the importance of protecting Nepal’s natural heritage.
The show will present the work of 62 graduating designers in six themed sequences and will be performed by 6 male and 26 female professional models. The models were carefully chosen after judging their walk, performance, personality, body features, experience, and their suitability for each design concept, to ensure a confident and meaningful runway presentation.
The six main sequences, NEPALIUM: Where Ice Finds Its Flow, Aviora, THE OBSCURA: Beneath, Beyond, Becoming, Iridescent Shells (Armor Softened by Elegance), RED LIST REVERIE, and VANASPATI KUSUM: Forest Blooms of Nepal will share stories of strength, change, imagination, environmental care, and Nepal’s rich plant life.
This graduation fashion show is an important part of the Bachelor of Fashion Design and Management (BFDM) program affiliated to Purbanchal University. It follows Namuna College of Fashion Technology’s tradition of combining classroom learning with real professional experience.
The students not only design their collections but also manage planning, production, promotion, and presentation of the entire event as part of their final academic evaluation.
Founded in 2002 by Mrs. Gyani Shova Tuladhar, Namuna College of Fashion Technology was the first institution to introduce fashion degree programs in Nepal and continues to guide young designers with creativity, technical skill, and respect for culture.
Through this show, the college aims to test students’ creative abilities, build leadership and management skills, inform the public about fashion as a serious academic and career field, support local designs and materials, and celebrate the idea that true beauty grows when diversity, culture, and creativity come together.
