To make the event better, grandeur and popular, the ethnic beauty pageant focused to Young women of Tamang community named as Miss Tamang has been televised and is being aired on AP 1 Television.
The 2018 edition of Miss Tamang has twenty eight contestants and their performances have been televised and are being broadcasted as television episodes. The first episode was aired on 3rd February 2018. The episodes would continue for few more weeks prior to the grand finale.
The episodes can be watched on AP 1 television every Saturdays at 9 pm. The episodes includes the introductory performance, competitions on best walk and best dress category and the talent round performances.
The episodes are being hosted by Media person and fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya and the title holders of Miss Tamang event of prior editions respectively Munashree Lama, Urmila Lama and Pinky Ghising.
As told by the organizing team of the event the top ten finalists would be sorted from the audience poll that is decided through sms voting. The finale of Miss Tamang 2018 is scheduled for 19th of Falgun 2074.
The event is being jointly organized by Nepal Tamang art and culture center and Everest fashion home. The event is being managed by Sadhana Kala Kendra and Rojin Shakya is mentoring the contestants as the choreographer of the event.
