Applications are now officially open for Miss Nepal North America 2026, one of the most prominent platforms for Nepali women living abroad. This year’s edition is already making headlines with a major venue shift.
Breaking away from tradition, the grand finale will be held in Washington, DC on July 25 (Shrawan 9), instead of its usual home in New York. Organizers say the change is aimed at elevating the scale and experience of the event.
Organized by Dreams Universal, the pageant carries the theme “Empowering Nepali women, empowering future generations.” According to organizer Shailendra Shrestha, the new location will bring a fresh energy and a more grand presentation compared to previous editions.
For the first time, a local host partner USA Entertainment, led by event organizer Chandra Lama will collaborate on the event. The company has a strong track record of hosting major Nepali events in the United States, adding further weight to this year’s edition.
The organizers also promise a strong presence of well-known personalities from Nepali cinema and other fields at the grand finale, making it a star studded affair.
To participate, applicants must be unmarried Nepali women residing in the United States or Canada, aged between 18 and 29. They must have at least a high school (Plus Two or equivalent) education and a minimum height of 5 feet 1 inch.
