57 graduating fashion designers, fifteen exclusive designs, each being a master piece, presented through the mind boggling craftsmanship garnered by innovative ideas of creativity representing Marine life in various forms, shapes and sizes, all gave a delightful treat to the eyes.
From jelly fish, starfish, betta fish, mermaid, coral reef, sea plants to sea urchins, sea dragon, pearls, shells and many more, the inspiration from marine life came alive with the creativity explored in various colors, materials and fabrics.
Each of fifteen creative designs flaunted on the runway of Ricorrenza De La Moda was a show stealer. It was 12th season of graduation show of Namuna College of Fashion Technology and was been organized and managed by 12th graduating batch. It was an academic show been presented as the part of BFD course, a bachelor level course in fashion designing.
Other than the creative session, the event had other five rounds as well. The first set of the dresses that took the runway was been inspired by Lolita fashion where frills, flounce, lace and ruffles came alive in different hues of pastel shade.
The second came with Indo western theme having fitted jacket, slim fit jacket, cape mixed with traditional sarees and sleeveless blouse. Then came street wear styles came having minimal, natural looks and oversized fits all explored in hemp fabric.
In the event been Choreographed by Rojin Shakya, the forth scene gave the flash back of the exclusive works of Pioneer fashion designer and founder principal of Namuna College of Fashion Technology, Mrs. Gyani Shova Tuladhar.
This round was a tribute to Mrs. Tuladhar’s creativity and was inspired by her works in fashion designing. The floor length gowns, princess line, raglan sleeve, ruffles, draping, cape, off shoulder design and many others came alive in raw silk, satin with the highlights of Dhaka.
The fifth round was all about corporate dressing subjected to the female professionals and had garments like fitted skirt, pencil skirt, shirts, tops etc.
