The man hailing from Sarlahi, Manindra Singh has clinched the title award of Mr. Gay Handsome Nepal 2017. As the winner Manindra earned fifty thousand rupees as his cash prize. Likewise Birendra Chaudhary from Kailali bagged the first runner-up position while Anuj Peter Rai from Lalitpur finished the event as second runner-up. The runner-ups respectively received cash prize of rupees forty and thirty thousand. The event had sixteen contestants in the race of title awards, showcased at Rastriya Naachghar Jamal on 26th of December 2017,
Organized by Blue Diamond society Mr. Gay Handsome Nepal Pageant is a national platform for Gay community in Nepal to experience a unique and honorable lifetime event to express their identity and social standing. Other than being the pageant focused on Nepalese gay men, the aims to choose a winner with the leadership who would work for the gay rights in the country as well as involve in generating awareness of the LGBTIQ movement.
The first edition of the event was held back in the year 2013 and Bishwaraj Adhikari was the winner of premier edition of the event.
