Nepali film “Maijharo”, directed by Wilson Bikram Rai, has dropped its official teaser ahead of its grand release on Kartik 7 (October 24, 2025). Timed with the auspicious day of Ghatasthapana during Dashain, the 1 minute 58 seconds teaser introduces audiences to a heartfelt, culturally-rooted love story.
Set against the breathtaking landscapes of Ilam, the teaser beautifully portrays an emotional love triangle between Dhiraj Magar, Miruna Magar, and Deeya Pun. Dhiraj is seen embodying the rustic village lifestyle, while Miruna is shown carrying a basket and plucking tea leaves, hinting at her character’s connection with Ilam’s iconic tea gardens. Glimpses of their blossoming romance are contrasted with the entry of Deeya Pun, suggesting an emotional twist in the story.

Known widely for his comedy as Takme Buda, Wilson Bikram Rai has surprised many by steering away from humor and presenting a deeply cultural and emotional narrative. “Maijharo” explores the complexities of relationships and sacrifices, making it a refreshing departure from the expected.
The film boasts an impressive star cast, including Dayahang Rai, Buddhi Tamang, Sunil Thapa, Pushkar Gurung, Abhaya Raj Baral, Maotse Gurung, Kavita Ale, Rajani Gurung, Prem Subba, Uday Subba, Anil Subba, Bhupendra Lingden, and Bishal Limbu.
