Madan’s designs showcased in Asian Fashion week 2014

Glamour Nepal | Fashion designers representing 58 countries from Asia which includes Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia China incl., HK & Macau, Georgia, India, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordon Kazakhstan, Korea, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor Leste, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam & Yemen successfully showcased their designing skills in one platform named as Asian Fashion Week 2014. The event of this fashion extravaganza took place at Surabaya, Indonesia. It kicked off on Friday, August 15 and ended on 18th of August 2014, Monday.

Nepali fashion designer Madan Paudel was able to create buzz with first time ever participation representing Nepal at international arena in such a big platform. Madan showcased his creations on Sunday 17th of August 2014, the day when the designers from Indonesia Sunday, Brunei, Cameroon, and Australia unveiled their part. During the fashion week Madan presented various lines of attires that majorly included casual dresses, Nepali cultural dresses, eco-friendly dresses, a master piece, an event guard and a haute couture. The designs were mainly focused on promoting Nepali Dhaka clothing and embroidery designs.

With the joint effort and initiation of Nepal Fashion Federation and Nepal Fashion Designers Association Madan got this opportunity to represent Nepal at Asian Fashion Week 2014. Madan is an aspiring fashion designer working as a freelancer and a graduating fashion designer of IEC College of art and fashion.
