Laxmi and Yashoda Crowned as Mrs. and Miss Disability Queen Nepal 2025


The fifth edition of the Mrs. and Miss Disability Queen Nepal pageant concluded with resounding success. In this special event celebrating the strength and grace of differently abled married and unmarried women, Laxmi Sapkota from Janakpur was crowned Mrs. Disability Queen Nepal 2025, also receiving the Most Friendly title. Likewise, Yashoda Bohora from Bardiya was honored as Miss Disability Queen Nepal 2025, along with the titles for Most Courageous and Best Smile.

In the other major titles, Ganga Puri from Dhading secured the First Runner-Up position, accompanied by the Best Personality award, while Sunayana Kayastha from Bhaktapur was declared Second Runner-Up, also winning the Most Talented award.

The grand finale of this inspiring competition, centered on empowering women with physical disabilities, was held at Diyo Mahal, located in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu. The judging panel included Bibha Basnet, the reigning Mrs. Heritage International 2024; professional makeup artist Laxmi Basnet; Miss Eco International Nepal 2025 Sanskriti Bhatta; and hospitality consultant Diwas Yonjan. The panel was chaired by Keshar Bahadur Bhandari, District Governor of Lions International District 325 F.

Organized by Green Arts Media in collaboration with Lions International District 325 F, the event featured participation from 14 remarkable contestants. The event’s choreography and stage direction were led by fashion choreographer Anila Shrestha. The program was graced by Laxmi Ghimire, a member of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly, as the chief guest.
