The second edition of the culturally focused children’s beauty pageant Face of Tamang Kids 2025, dedicated to showcasing young talents from the Tamang community, concluded successfully. Kebik Tamang and Sarlin Tamang claimed the top honors as overall winners of the event.
In addition to securing the main title, Kebik was also awarded Master Handsome, Most Talented, and Public Favorite titles. Meanwhile, Sarlin took home awards for Miss Beautiful, Best Smile, and Most Talented in the girls’ segment.
Phurba Moktan was declared First Runner-Up among the boys, along with titles for Viewer’s Favorite and Best Discipline. In the girls’ category, Selin Moktan became First Runner-Up, bagging accolades such as Public Favorite, Viewer’s Favorite, Miss Confident, and Miss Active.
Similarly, Dipson Tamang the First Runner-Up position with recognitions for Best Personality, Photogenic Look, and Most Confident in the boys’ division. For the girls, Sonam Pakhrin Dolma Lama was chosen as Second Runner-Up, receiving awards for Most Photogenic, Miss Cute, and Best Discipline.
The event, organized by Youth Creation Nepal, was hosted at Nawadurga Party Venue in Sukedhara, Kathmandu. The judging panel featured Bishwo Dong, Chandani Moktan, and Arambha Tamang, while veteran musician Milan Moktan graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Participants were trained in various disciplines: MB Gurung provided dance mentorship, Sanjiv Pongdila Changba instructed in traditional Damphu drumming, and Bina Lama offered guidance in the Tamang language. The entire program was directed and hosted by media personality and fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya.
