Karuna Bhujel Shrestha from Jorpati was crowned Capital Queen Nepal 2025, marking a significant milestone in her fashion journey. A professional fashion designer, Karuna captivated the judges and audience alike with her poise, talent, and charisma. The grand finale event held at Jyapu Pragya Academy, Lalitpur.
Alongside the coveted crown, Karuna received an entry package to the Nepal Fashion and Entertainment Awards 2026, which will take place in London, offering her an international platform to represent Nepal’s vibrant fashion scene. Her standout performance also earned her the Best Photogenic and Best Dress titles, making her one of the evening’s most celebrated contestants.
The competition was organized by Himalaya Movies Production House and choreographed by fashion director Himani Subba. It was the ninth edition of the Capital Queen Nepal pageant, an event committed to empowering women, celebrating talent, and nurturing confidence.
Two other major titles were awarded:
Anita Lama was named First Runner-up, also receiving the Most Smart title.
Sita Rai secured the position of Second Runner-up and was honored as the Most Diligent participant.
