Her journey began with her crowning as Miss United Nations Nepal 2026 in Kathmandu. Organised by Green Arts Media Pvt. Ltd., the national ceremony selected her to represent Nepal at the international competition in India.
Ahead of the event, Raut trained under fashion choreographer and pageant director Anila Shrestha. Her preparation focused on confidence, stage presentation, performance and personality development.

In her Instagram message, Raut thanked Shrestha, whom she described as her national director, for encouraging her throughout the journey. She also acknowledged her family, friends and everyone who supported her when the experience felt overwhelming.
The business graduate wrote about overcoming self-doubt and the importance of having people who continued to believe in her. Her message offered a personal glimpse into the preparation and emotions behind the pageant result.
For Raut, the experience carried meaning beyond the awards. She described returning with renewed belief in herself, lasting friendships and memories that would remain with her beyond the competition.
“This is not just my crowning moment, it is a moment for Nepal,” she wrote.
