Red bridal saris, lehengas and live instrumental music brought the spirit of a wedding celebration to the Century Fabric International Behuli Fashion Runway. The showcase paired designer collections with a reception-inspired finale, while Kamala Basnet received the event’s principal honour, Behuli Queen.
Presented by Shagoon Jewelers, the event was organized by Sanmik Events and Studio under the leadership of CEO and organizer Sandeep Kumar Pandit. Its runway presentations explored different approaches to bridal dressing, from saris and lehengas to gown-styled saris and draped silhouettes.
Red remained the dominant colour across the collections, with other shades and distinctive detailing adding variety. Each sequence introduced a different designer or label, giving the showcase a progression from bridal fashion presentations to the atmosphere of a wedding reception.
Dinusha Sambahamphe of Dinusha Collection opened the show. Kabita Dhakal, Mrs. Vogue Nepal Earth 2026, appeared as the collection’s showstopper, leading the first of the evening’s featured presentations.
The second sequence introduced Sushila Lama’s designs for The ZEMA Fashion. Aaista Joshi, winner of Face of Nepal 2026, showcased the collection.
MD Collection followed with two consecutive sequences, occupying the third and fourth segments of the programme. Komal Nepali, Mrs. Vogue Nepal 2026, appeared as the label’s showstopper.
For the final sequence, Samiksha Lamichhane brought female and male models together to recreate the celebratory mood of a bridal reception. Model and performing artist Ashmita Puri led the finale as the collection’s showstopper, closing the fashion presentations with a festive touch.
Live music accompanied the runway throughout the showcase. Baibhav Pariyar played the keyboard, Sandeep Shraf performed on the octopad, and Milan Gajmer played the flute. Their accompaniment connected the fashion sequences through rhythm and melody, making music part of the presentation itself.
Alongside the designer collections, the event honoured participants for their runway presence, graceful movement and photogenic appeal.

Kamala Basnet received the Behuli Queen title, while Pratikshya Khanal earned Most Graceful Behuli. Sushila Lamsal was named Behuli Elegance Queen.
Amrita Karki received two honours: Most Photogenic Behuli and Best Behuli on the Runway. Supriya Khanal won Best Walk, while Mallika Dhungana received the Organizer’s Choice award.
Komal Nepali, Kabita Dhakal and Bishal Paswan directed the event, with Anmol Banquet serving as venue partner. Fashion choreographer and media personality Rojin Shakya choreographed and hosted the showcase.
Through its varied silhouettes, live musical performances and reception-inspired closing sequence, the International Behuli Fashion Runway brought several elements of a wedding celebration onto one stage, with bridal fashion at its centre.
