Hawaldar Suntali poster inspired from South Indian film

One of the poster of Nepali movie Hawaldar Suntali received too much of popularity. Producer Chhabiraj Ojha has been facing accusations of copying poster in many films. It has been revealed that a poster featuring actress Shilpa Pokharel in lap of actor Sabin Shrestha, is not the original concept.

It can be observed that the poster of the movie is inspired from Malayalam poster from the movie ‘Lucky the Racer’. Although the main concept of the poster has been stolen, presentation is slightly different. Time will tell if there is resemblance in poster only or also in story of the film. The movie Hawaldar Suntali is scheduled to release in all over nepal from 2071 Chaitra 27.
