On Saturday 21st November, ‘Speak to me’ a talk show by fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya via social media Facebook would have a live conversation with Multi-dimensional professional Shova Maharjan.
A fashion designer, an entrepreneur, an actor, a model, a fashion columnist, a writer, with all these multiple identities, Shova Maharjan has been successfully showcasing her talent and skills in all the fields she has indulged in.
With a degree of Diploma in fashion designing from National Institute of Arts and fashion Technology, she currently runs a boutique cum training institute called Gorgeous Institute of Fashion Technology, GIFT in Kumaripati. The lady has successfully showcased four editions of her own fashion show called Gorgeous Attire fashion show and has been the official designer for various beauty pageants and fashion shows. Her designing skill is also been incorporated in a couple of Ads. campaigns.
Besides being a designer Shova has been taking responsibility as a fashion columnist in a Nepal Bhasa weekly called Tikijhya. She does write poems and Haiku in Nepal Bhasa. The resident of Kirtipur, Shova has acted in a number of music videos mostly the Nepal Bhasa songs but also have tried out Nepali songs as well. Right from music video modeling, Shova has also acted in short movies and a Nepal Bhasa movie named Basant Ritu while has also directed short movies. The lady has also extended her hand in singing with the song called Jigu Baankha in Nepal Bhasa with her own lyrics.
Apart from continuing the journey in vivid fields, the lady has also been awarded as the winner of Best Nepalbhasa music video Model Female category in National Box Office Music Video Awards 2018 and Kirtipur Youth of the Year 2018. She is also the recipient of the Best Model female Public Choice award and Best Dress Designer Award at Nepal Bhasa Star Music Video Awards 2019.
