official poster of the sci-fi film Eklo-I, featuring Pradeep Khadka, Jamie Bacon, Benisha Hamal, Kabita Nepali, Vijay Lama, Sunil Thapa and the ensemble cast.
The makers of Eklo-I have dropped the film’s official poster, and the excitement around this ambitious Nepali sci-fi drama has jumped to a whole new level. The poster bursts with characters, mystery and scale, hinting at a story that travels from the harsh future to Nepal’s spiritual heart.
The design blends fire, ice and cosmic shadows, placing the film’s ensemble cast at the center of a world torn between science and mythology. The poster highlights astronauts, warriors, sages, guardians and mystic figures, each suggesting a different layer of the story that unfolds in the year 2090.
The production team had already teased individual character posters earlier, but this new reveal brings all the major faces together, giving the first real feel of the film’s universe.
Directed by Pradeep Shahi, Eklo-I is set after a global catastrophe forces the surviving population toward the Himalayas. The narrative dives into hidden civilizations, ancient legends, futuristic conflict and a dangerous mission that pushes its characters into unknown worlds.
The cast, as officially announced by the team, includes Nepal and international actors such as Pradeep Khadka, Kabita Nepali, Jamie Bacon, Benisha Hamal, Vijay Lama, Sunil Thapa, Deeya Pun, Dinesh DC and several others. Their character looks previously released individually, now come together in a single frame, showing grit, intensity and emotional depth.
Shot across challenging Himalayan terrains and built with heavy visual effects, the film positions itself as one of Nepal’s most ambitious sci-fi projects yet. With cinematography by Babu Shrestha, action direction by Raju Tamang and art direction by Santosh Lama, the team aims to deliver a cinematic world that blends futuristic imagination with the raw beauty and mythology of Nepal.
Eklo-I is produced by SHY Productions Nepal and is slated for release on 1 January 2026 (17 Poush 2082). After creating buzz at the Cannes Film Market earlier this year, the film now edges closer to its theatrical debut, and this poster marks a powerful step in its promotional journey.
More updates and trailers are expected soon.
