Dashain Aayo Festive Runway 2083 Blends Fashion and Music
Festive fashion took centre stage at Dashain Aayo Festive Runway 2083, where designs by Praju Mukhia and Sangina Munikar shared the spotlight with celebrity runway appearances and live music. Dikpal Karki closed the fashion showcase, while Dhiraj Rai and Pooja Lama carried the celebration into song.
Presented by Casa Lounge in collaboration with The Ramp Fashion and Modeling Agency, the event brought together around a dozen models across four runway sequences. Media personality and fashion choreographer Jayan Subba Manandhar choreographed the show.
The collections featured glamorous and contemporary ensembles, bringing a festive mood to the runway through varied silhouettes and styling.
Model and singer Ramita Bhandari opened the show. Aayasta Joshi and Anisha Shrestha, winners of Face of Nepal 2026, then introduced the first sequence.
Guest models included professor and cosmetologist Parishi Karanjit, beautician and social worker Nikita Pandey, and Glam Model Vogue Season 3 winner Sandhya Shrestha. Their appearances added to a lineup that brought personalities from fashion, beauty and other professional backgrounds onto the same runway.
Actor and model Dikpal Karki made the showstopper appearance, closing the fourth and final sequence before the evening shifted to live performances.
Dhiraj Rai performed three of his well-known songs, bringing his energetic stage style to the Dashain celebration. Pooja Lama, whose career spans acting, modelling and singing, followed with her popular numbers as audience members joined in and danced.
Nikita Acharya hosted the programme, while Sumitra Shrestha coordinated the event.
Casa Lounge’s Ram Pyara Shrestha said the completion of this year’s edition had encouraged the organisers to continue the initiative.
Rushka Makeup Studio served as the official makeup partner. Silk Hair, BMW Ultimate Professional and Mama Mulmi also supported Dashain Aayo Festive Runway 2083.
