In a glamorous finale held at the prestigious Pragya Bhawan in Kamaladi, Kathmandu, Cyrus Bishwakarma and Diksha Awasthi emerged victorious as Mister and Miss Supranational Nepal 2025. The event, part of the Mister and Miss National Nepal 2025 competition, brought together top contenders from across the country to compete for national titles and the opportunity to represent Nepal on international platforms.
Among the 16 finalists 8 men and 8 women, the competition was intense and full of talent. From this strong pool of contestants, Cyrus and Diksha stood out with their charisma, confidence, and overall performance, earning them the top honors. Their win secures them a place to represent Nepal in the upcoming Mister and Miss Supranational international competitions, one of the most recognized pageants in the world.
In addition to the main titles, four other major winners were announced. Riju Bhattarai took home the title of Miss Globe Nepal 2025, while Siddhartha Tamang was crowned Mister International Nepal 2025. These titles are prestigious in their own right and will allow the winners to compete internationally.
Likewise, Sumnima Puri earned the title of Miss Intercontinental Nepal 2025, and Krishal Shrestha was named Mister Tourism Nepal 2025. Each of these six winners will serve as Nepal’s ambassadors on various global pageant stages, showcasing the country’s culture, beauty, and talent.
The event also saw the crowning of Prayag Regmi and Anisha Shrestha as Mister and Miss National 2025, recognizing their overall excellence in the competition. Sijal Kapali and Sylvia Sharma were announced as the first runners-up, while Azhar Alam and Yukta Singh secured the positions of second runners-up. These titles reflect their outstanding performance throughout the event.
Organized by Sunurbi International, the event featured 27 participants both male and female, who underwent weeks of rigorous training, grooming, and mentoring. The choreography for the show was handled by media professional and fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya. Smith Tamang served as the pasarela (runway) trainer, and Kshitiz Shrestha Chhetri supported the event as the assistant choreographer.
A distinguished panel of judges was assembled to evaluate the participants on various criteria, including stage presence, personality, communication skills, and talent. The panel featured Dr. Santosh Upadhyaya (Mister Nepal 2019 and national director of the event), Kedar Nyaupane (CEO of November Clothing Brand), Dr. Keshhu Khadka (Miss Supranational Nepal 2022), Priya Sigdel (Miss Nepal Earth 2018), leadership coach Arun Basnet, and television presenter Sijal Rupakheti.
To further highlight individual strengths, the competition awarded several subtitle honors across various categories. Khewang Sherpa and Sumnima Puri were named Most Photogenic, while Sijal Kapali and Anisha Shrestha were recognized for their Fitness. The Talent award went to Siddhartha Tamang and Sumnima Puri, while Best Hospitality was awarded to Khewang Sherpa and Barsha Thapa.
In the Swimwear category, Cyrus Bishwakarma and Sumnima Puri took top honors. The Top Model titles went to Krishal Shrestha and Diksha Awasthi. Public Choice winners were Azhar Alam and Riju Bhattarai, reflecting their popularity among the audience. Siddhartha Tamang and Rabina G.C. were awarded for Best Multimedia Presence.
Additional awards included Best Physique for Cyrus Bishwakarma and Manisha Panth, Elegance for Prayag Regmi and Sylvia Sharma, and Best Skin for Siddhartha Tamang and Diksha Awasthi. Best Hair was awarded to Manish Shah and Anu Rai, while Ayush Shrestha and Anjana Sherpa were named Best Smile. The Congeniality title went to Jeevan Upreti and Anisha Shrestha, and Best Communication Skills to Jeevan Tamang and Yukta Singh.
Cyrus Bishwakarma and Julie Shah received recognition as the Top Influencers, showcasing their social media and public outreach abilities. The Empowerment category, highlighting leadership and impact, was won by Spandan Rai and Swechhya Dhakal.
