The breeze and beach turned glamourous as fashion and style came together on the runway of The National Designer’s Runway 2024. Held against the picturesque backdrop of Sukute Beach Resort, the runway set on the sand added an extra touch of glamour to the Wednesday evening of 13th March 2024.
Twenty-eight stunning creations were showcased by thirteen models, each one a testament to the innovative designs and craftsmanship of the participating designers. Asmita Shrestha, a student from the 20th batch of Namuna College of Fashion Technology, stole the show with her exceptional creativity, earning her the title of victor among the fourteen designers competing in the contest.
The competition was fierce, with each participating designer presenting two designs under the same theme, showcasing their unique interpretations and artistic visions. Miraj Hussain and Sushmita Ghising also demonstrated their best, securing the first and second runner-up positions respectively, adding to the brilliance to the evening.
Behind the scenes, Devil Singh Rajput conceptualized the event, while Rajya Media Network Pvt. Ltd. took on the responsibility of organizing it flawlessly. Fashion choreographer and media personality Rojin Shakya lent his expertise to choreographing and hosting the event, ensuring that every moment on the runway was captivating and unforgettable.
The jury panel, consisting of fashion designer Ankit Maity, fashion choreographer Dhiraj Tandukar, and event manager/aviation entrepreneur Rezina Tuladhar, played a crucial role in evaluating the designs and selecting the winners, ensuring a fair and impartial outcome.
Overall, The National Designer Runway 2024 was not just a fashion show, but a celebration of creativity, talent, and the vibrant spirit of the fashion industry.
