Angel Shrestha crowned as Miss Newa 1136 : 23rd of February 2016 witnessed the grand finale of Miss Newa 1136. Presented in a grand way, the event took off with the welcome dance presented in the fusion beats, performance by the contestants who were claded in the attires designed by IEC ians.
Then dressed in silk sarees of Sumdima Silk Palace the contestants delivered their introduction in Nepal Bhasa. Then rounds of Oral question answer, best attire, semi final and final rounds of question answer took place.
Finally the event ended with Angel Shrestha crowned as new Miss Newa. Angel was also successful as Miss Photogenic and was also appointed as the goodwill ambassador of Cancer Relief Society Nepal. The event had Rejisha Dongol as first runner-ups while Meenu Prajapati was able to finalize herself as second runner-ups. Meenu was also awarded as Miss Friendship.
The event oranized Nepalese Fashion Home and choreographed by Rojin Shaky had twenty two participants competing for the title awards of Miss Newa 1136. Besides the competition the event shows couple of dance performances presented by artists from Nepa Dance Academy while Nisha Desha was a solo singer to entertain the mass. The event was presented at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi.
