Nepali web series ‘Sahu Ba’ featuring crime, action, and revenge, Directed by Sujoy Yong, the 24 episode series will stream from April 17
A new wave of action-driven storytelling is arriving on Nepali screens as the trailer of Saahu Ba has been officially released, promising a gripping mix of crime, revenge, and power struggles.
Produced by Music Nepal in collaboration with Frame In Motion, the 1 minute 44 second trailer instantly sets the tone for a high-intensity narrative rarely seen in Nepali web series.
At the center of the story is Biju Parki, whose character appears deeply driven by revenge. A recurring visual of a white paper plane shown both at the beginning and mid-way through the trailer adds a layer of mystery. It hints at either a childhood memory or a symbolic trigger for revenge. When seen in blood-soaked hands, the object becomes even more powerful, suggesting an emotional and violent backstory.
The trailer moves through a series of intense visuals high-speed chases, brutal fight sequences, police investigations, and emotional confrontations. A young man caught in a web of crime and vengeance appears to be battling a larger criminal network. Fire, weapons, and hospital scenes further raise the suspense level.

Unlike many Nepali web series that rely heavily on dialogue, Saahu Ba leans strongly into action. Street stunts, moving vehicle sequences, and well-choreographed warehouse fights show a clear focus on cinematic scale and technical ambition.
The final shot of a grand red chair hints at a deeper power struggle. Who owns that seat of power and how much blood will be shed to claim, it seems to be the central question of the series.
Director and writer Sujoy Yong describes Saahu Ba as one of the most ambitious digital projects in Nepal. The scale is evident, with more than 380 artists involved an unusually large number for a Nepali web series.
The 24-episode series has reportedly taken nearly three years to complete. It features a strong ensemble cast including Priyanka Karki, Namrata Shrestha, Kavita Nepali, Sarita Giri, Amit Shah, Priyanka Chaudhary, Hina Nagarkoti, and others from both film and theatre backgrounds.
On the technical side, cinematography is handled by Ayushman D Joshi, Sangam Rai, and Anish Tamang, while editing is done by Ram Prasad Chaudhary. Action direction comes from Pema Lama and Raju Tamang, adding to the series’ high-octane appeal.
Saahu Ba is set to premiere on April 17, 2026 (Baisakh 4). Viewers can watch all episodes from 6 PM on the MOMO App, while episodes will also be released weekly on the YouTube channel of Music Nepal.
With its scale, cast, and focus on action, Saahu Ba could mark a turning point for Nepali digital content.
