Bollywood Super Star Aamir Khan participated in a Unicef nutrition programme on Wednesday organised by a local women’s group at Kapilvastu in western Nepal. He spent around an hour at the Pakadi Health Post, where health officials and women volunteers made a presentation on local nutrition status. Aamir, who is Unicef’s ambassador promoting nutrition for children. Aamir returned to Kathmandu after visiting the Mayadevi Temple in Lumbini.
Aamir, arrived in Kathmandu with his personal security personnel at Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday afternoon via a Jet Airways flight from Mumbai. A dozen Nepal Police personnel have been deployed for his security at Dwarika’s Hotel where he is staying. Before ending up his visit, Unicef will organize a press conference where Aamir will share his Nepal experience on Thursday.
