A mesmerizing ambience, grand runway setup, stunning designs and fabulous styles of fashion, celebrities in the audience row and popular faces like Aastha Pokharel, Sabita Karki, Nagma Shrestha, Shikshya Sangraula and more of them walking; the k town fashionistas were seen deeply engaged with the flair of fashion extravaganza named as Daljit Sudan fashion runway 2018. A Solo show exhibition by the Designer named Daljit Kaur Sudan presented her latest collection inspired by the ‘Magic of Zaffran’.
Inspired by the precious, almost spiritual qualities of the saffron flower, Daljit’s line up was seen borrowed heavily from the color, the motifs, the purity and the uniqueness of the flower. The craftsmanship in Kashmiri art, prints and hand embroidery were the highlights of the collection and saw the unique and beautiful blend of contemporary and traditional styles enriched with the labor intensive hand embroidery of Kashmir along with the vibrancy of fabrics from Nepal as well as from India, Italy and Japan.
The event showcased on 25th of May 2018 at Rose Garden of Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza was beautifully been managed by Next Models Nepal and the performances of models in the show was been directed by Choreographer Rachana Gurung Sharma.
