Miss World Sexiest Bikini Round removed for future competition; there will be not bikini or swimsuit round at Miss World from next year. The organizer decided to scrap the round in the 64-year-old history of the global beauty pageant.
“There will be no swimsuit round from the competition from 2015,” Chairman of organizing committee Julia Morley said, “The round doesn’t serve the aim of the competition.” She has started the competition in 1951.
Beauty queens from 120 participate in the competition. Rolene Strauss of South Africa was crowned the 64th Miss World winner in London Dec 14 and it marked the final event featuring contestants wearing bikinis.
