Actress Jennifer Lawrence has been announced as most bankable Hollywood artist by Forbes Magazine.
Lawerence captured the first position surpassing Chris Pratt and Scarlett Johansson. She was crowned most bankable star of 2014 due to success of blockbusters ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’ and ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’. These two films had grossed over USD 1.40 billion globally.
Pratt secured second position. His two films -‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘The Lego Movie’- earned $1.2 billion. Johansson made it to No 3 with a total of $1.18bn after appearing in superhero sequel ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, ‘Lucy’ and ‘Under the Skin’.
Mark Wahlberg was in fourth position through ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ that did a business of USD One billion. His film ‘The Gambler’ was released only three days ago. Chris Evans (USD800million) was fifth for ‘The Winter Soldier’ and ‘Snowpiercer.’
