Is ‘12 Gaun 2’ preparing to put Biraj Bhatt and Samir Bhatt on opposite sides? The newly released teaser has created exactly that question, with its final moments hinting at a potentially explosive confrontation between the real-life father-son duo.
The 1-minute-49-second teaser is packed with guns, fights and high-energy action, but reveals very little about the film’s actual storyline. Instead, Biraj and Samir dominate the footage, presented as two powerful characters whose paths could eventually collide.
The biggest talking point comes near the end. Biraj and Samir are seen pointing guns toward each other before a voiceover declares that when two powers come face to face, the outcome is decided not simply by war but by the end of one of them.
That sequence has naturally sparked speculation that 12 Gaun 2 could place their characters against each other.
The teaser, however, stops short of confirming that theory.
It does not explain the relationship between the two characters, why they might become rivals or whether the apparent face-off is even part of the central conflict. The filmmakers appear to be keeping those details deliberately under wraps.
Another scene presenting Samir in a confident, almost underworld-style setting adds another layer of mystery. It raises questions about whether his character is building his own power, challenging an existing force or simply being presented that way to misdirect viewers before the film arrives.
Some of the action also appears to involve a struggle surrounding the rescue of a woman from abductors, although the teaser does not establish this as the film’s complete storyline.

More than plot revelations, the teaser sells 12 Gaun 2 through action.
Gunfire, hand-to-hand combat and large-scale confrontation dominate the footage. Biraj and Samir receive most of the screen time, while Anoop Bikram Shahi, who is associated with the film’s villainous side, appears only briefly.
Kafiya, also known as Krishu Shahi, and Barsha Itani are making their Nepali film debuts with 12 Gaun 2, but the teaser keeps their characters largely away from the spotlight.
The wider cast includes Sunil Pokharel, Prakash Shah, Kalu Rana, Khushi Karki, Pushkar Bhatt and several others.
The Mystery Could Be Part of the Promotion
The decision to reveal action while withholding the character dynamics appears to be one of the teaser’s main strengths.
Audiences are shown enough to understand that Biraj and Samir will be major forces in the film, but not enough to determine whether they are allies, rivals or characters headed toward a temporary confrontation.
That unanswered question gives the film a useful pre-release hook: Are Biraj and Samir really fighting each other, or is the teaser hiding a much bigger twist?
Directed by Biraj Bhatt, 12 Gaun 2 is the follow-up to 12 Gaun. Santosh Sarkar has written the story and screenplay, while Mahesh Paudel serves as DOP. Saraswati Bhatt is the producer. Action direction is handled by Stunt Silva and Shankar Maharjan.
The film is scheduled to reach cinemas across Nepal on Asoj 30, corresponding to October 16, 2026, during the Dashain festive season.
For now, the teaser has succeeded in leaving one major question unanswered, whether 12 Gaun 2 will really turn Biraj Bhatt and Samir Bhatt into rivals, or whether audiences are being prepared for an entirely different twist.
