Kapil Sharma is back with New Season produced by Salman Khan

After a long break, comedian Kapil Sharma is back with a fresh season of his popular show The Kapil Sharma Show. The comedy show that premiered in April 2016 ruled rating charts for more than a year before it took a season break in August last year after the comedian’s infamous clash with Sunil Grover and the show’s subsequent drop in ratings.

Kapil’s next show Family Time with Kapil Sharma that started airing in March 2018 did not work in his favor and flopped miserably. The comedian’s mental health was one of the primary reasons behind the failure of the show apart from the dull format.

Now that Kapil is feeling fitter and better, he is all geared up for his comeback with The Kapil Sharma Show Season 2 on December 23. Sony TV made his comeback official with announcement of this teaser. The teaser shows; how the comedy brings people closer from different society and acts as the best medicine for a sick person. The new season of The Kapil Sharma Show will be produced by Salman Khan and will bring together Kapil’s old colleagues, without Sunil Grover, Sugandha Mishra and Ali Asgar who are teaming up for another show called Kanpur Wale Khuranas. but this time, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sharda and Sumona Chakravarti will be in Kapil’s team.

The first installment of The Kapil Sharma Show was initially scheduled for 26 episodes, but was later extended for a year.

Reportedly, the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show will take a leaf from his previous show Comedy Nights with Kapil as evident from the sets of the show which has a colony including houses and a market place.

Kapil Sharma will marry his girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on 12 December in Jalandhar.
