‘Dress to Impress’, celebration of designer’s creativity


They created wonderful attires and they flaunted them in a beautiful way. The scene recently seen at Yak Palace, Pulchowk was one of the very rare fashion scenes, because the designers would have models to walk for their designs.

Dress to Impress, the fashion show cum designer competition of the students of IIFT Nepal, saw more than ninety student fashion designers of the institute studying fashion designing at its both centers, Bagbazaar, Kathmandu, and Manbhawan, Lalitpur.

Among all the mesmerizing designs created by IIFT’ians, Cutie Shakya became the show stealer and was chosen as the winner while Uma Rai Magar and Rajan Kumar Shah were respectively awarded as first and second runner-up.

The top three winners received an appreciation amount of fifteen, ten, and five thousand rupees respectively. Likewise, the top three winners also received fitness packages at Cage fitness, Gwarko, Lalitpur. The event was been managed by Pacific Events and management Pvt. Ltd. and was choreographed by Bipana Thapa.
