Bipin Karki and Keki Adhikari as a married couple walking together on a rural village road in the Nepali film Kaji.
Actors Bipin Karki and Keki Adhikari are back together after winning hearts with intense performances in Prasad 2, this time as a married couple navigating the quiet storms of love and life in the upcoming Nepali film Kaji (Kaaji).
Directed by Laxman Rijal, the film marks his return to direction after nearly eight years, making this project even more anticipated within the industry.
In Kaji, Bipin plays the titular role of Kaji, while Keki steps into the role of Kajini, his wife. The story leans into a soft, emotional space exploring the unspoken tensions, small joys, and hidden struggles inside a marriage. It’s not loud drama; it’s the kind that grows quietly, the kind many couples will recognize.
The film also features a strong supporting cast including Garima Sharma, Prakash Ghimire, and Hemant Budhathoki.
Buzz around the film picked up after the release of its first song, “Wari Bara Pari Pipalu,” which captures a warm rural setting and a natural chemistry between the lead pair. The visuals simple, grounded, and deeply Nepali have already struck a chord with viewers.
Early posters and teasers hint at a “soft love story” tone, something audiences last felt strongly in Unko Sweater (Watch Here Full Movie). If that emotional texture carries through, Kaji could become one of the most relatable relationship dramas of the year.
The film is set to release on Jestha 8, 2083 and expectations are steadily rising.
