The premier show of Alok Nembang’s last movie AJHAI PANI was organized on Tuesday evening. During the function, first music video director of Nepal Sambhujit Baskota was honored by the ALOK TRUST. The trust was established in the name of the late acclaimed director who was found dead at his residence few months ago.
The music video of the song ‘MayaluTimi Tada Vayedinale…’ sung by actor Bhuwan KC is considered as first music video of Nepali song directed by Sambhujit Baskota . Bhuwan himself had acted in the video, while song was written by Uday Palpali and music was given by Sambhujit Baskota. The music video was shot by Jaya Singh Sha.
Speaking after receiving the honor, Baskota said that an artist never dies and added that word ‘late’ should not be added in front of Alok Nembang’s name.
He continued to say that Alok was a person full of creativity and thus is immortal. The ALOK TRUST will honor personality from Nepali music and film every year.
Alok Nembang’s last movie AJHAI PANI is releasing across the country from Falgun 15. Sudarshan Thapa, Puja Sharma, Surakshya Panta, Pramila Khanal, Bishan Dhungana, Pushpa Khaka among others will be appearing in the lead roles
