
Sabya Maharjan was crowned Mrs. Global Nepal 2026, while Ranjita Chhetri was declared First Runner-up and Anju Bhattarai became Second Runner-up
Sabya Maharjan has been crowned Mrs. Global Nepal 2026 at a grand finale held at Jyapu Academy Hall, Chhyasal, Lalitpur.
With the main title, Sabya also secured an exclusive entry package to represent Nepal at Nepal Fashion and Entertainment Awards (NFEA 2026), scheduled to take place in Hanoi, Vietnam. Her victory marked a memorable moment in the ninth edition of the pageant, which celebrates the confidence, achievements, beauty, and empowerment of married women in Nepal.
Sabya stood out throughout the competition with her graceful stage presence, confidence, and performance skills. Along with the main crown, she also won two major subsidiary titles: Best Talent and Best Dress.
Ranjita Chhetri was declared First Runner-up, while Anju Bhattarai became Second Runner-up.
Organized by Himalayan Movies Production House, the event brought together contestants from different backgrounds and highlighted their individuality, talent, personality, and confidence.
The evening opened with an energetic and elegant dance performance by the contestants. The thematic choreography, directed by event choreographer Himani Subba, added glamour and excitement to the stage.
The competition featured several important rounds, including the Introduction Round, Best Dress Presentation, Top Nine Selection, and Top Six Finalists Round, before the winners were finally announced.
Several contestants were also honored with special awards. Roshi Dhital won Best Photogenic, while Ranjita Chhetri received the Most Smart title. Anju Bhattarai was named Most Dynamic, and Bimala Maharjan won both Most Charming and Most Popular.
Other award winners included Sarala Thapa as Most Confident, Lalita Rai as Best Complexion, and Bimala Shrestha as Best Personality. Gita Khatri Khatiwada received the titles of Best Multimedia and Most Diligent, while Nirmala Nagarkoti was honored as Most Passionate.
Similarly, Bina Maharjan won Most Attractive, while Mina Kumari Magar received both Most Dedicated and Public Choice awards. Anju Devi Bhattarai was awarded the Public Choice Video Award.
The contestants were evaluated by a jury panel that included fashion designer Suknita Chaulagain, actor and model Santosh Baniya, actor Siddhartha Singh, actress and event organizer Menuka Majhi, and Beautician Nepal 2026 titleholder Sanu Thapa Magar.
The grand finale was hosted by fashion choreographer and media personality Rojin Shakya, whose presentation added elegance, energy, and professionalism to the evening.
