INAS Maryland’s Kids Talent Show 2026 Celebrates Nepali Language and Culture in the U.S.

INAS Maryland successfully hosted the Kids Talent Show 2026 in Baltimore, celebrating Nepali language, culture, and young talent. The event also announced the launch of the INAS Arts Center to support cultural education for future generations.


Baltimore, Maryland:
The second edition of the INAS Maryland Kids Talent Show 2026 concluded successfully in Baltimore, bringing together young Nepali talents and promoting Nepali language, culture, and identity among the new generation growing up in the United States.

Organized by the International Nepali Artists Society (INAS) Maryland, the event provided a platform for children of Nepali origin to showcase their abilities in singing, dancing, and Nepali-language public speaking. The program aimed to strengthen cultural connections and encourage young participants to embrace their Nepali roots.

The event was attended by Acting Ambassador of Nepal to the United States Sharad Raj Aryal as Chief Guest, while Maryland State Delegate Dr. Harry Bhandari and Brigadier General Purna Prasad Dhakal participated as Special Guests.

Held under the leadership of INAS Maryland President Shanti Bhandari, the program was coordinated by Sushil Pangeni and Amrita Nepal. The event received praise for its smooth organization and strong emphasis on the Nepali language.

In the competition, Pratistha Devkota won the Dance category, Arshiv Khanal secured first place in Singing, and Kripa Dhakal emerged as the winner in the Nepali Speech category. Ten additional young participants were also recognized for their outstanding performances.

According to the organizers, all participants received certificates, tokens of appreciation, and cash prizes, while winners received awards of up to $500.

One of the major highlights of the event was the announcement of the INAS Arts Center, a new initiative that will offer classes in Nepali dance, music, Nepali language, and Zumba. The center aims to provide a long-term platform for preserving and promoting Nepali culture among future generations in the diaspora.

The program witnessed strong participation from community leaders, journalists, parents, artists, and members of the Nepali community. The organizers credited the success of the event to the dedication of the entire INAS Maryland team, volunteers, and supporters.
