Highly acclaimed modeling competition of Nepal, JOY Model Hunt Nepal 2023 has been concluded in Kathmandu. Hosted at The Soaltee Kathmandu, the event elected Ronish Khadgi and Aayushma Paudel as the winner of its eight seasons.
Among the sixteen male and twenty-two female contestants Lucky Ranapaheli and Rhea Mehta earned first runner-up position while Saunak Malla and Monika Budhathoki completed the event as second runner-up.
As the winner Ronish bagged the opportunity to represent Nepal at Runway Model International being held Puerto Rico while as the winner Aayushma would represent Nepal at Super Model International being held in Thailand.
Showcased under the banner of Next Models Nepal, the event was been directed by Ravi Dhamala and Yaetna Pandey while fashion choreographer & media person Rojin Shakya was in charge of mentorship and choreography of the event.
The event awarded Tsering Phustok Gurung and Monika Budhathoki as most popular, Sohaj Khan and Rhea Mehta as photogenic, Ronish Khadgi and Sahara K.C. as public choice, Awaj Karki and Sujan Bam as best walk.
Likewise, Ashutosh Thapa and Lisa Barnawal as most stylish, Sunil Adhikari and Anisha Mainali as best personality, Ronish Khadgi as fitness model, Meghna Shrestha as best figure, Lucky Ranapaheli and Kristina Dhungana as commercial model.
The differently abled contestants of the event Sujal Bam and Soniya Tamang were been honored by special recognition award.
The three hour long model competition filled with fashion, style and glamour witnessed exclusive designer wear collection showcased by the various designers.
The collections were presented by fashion designers Santoshi Shrestha, Shyaron Shahi Thakuri, Rohit Chaudhary, Anzi Waiba and Julie Shah. The top seven finalists of the event were dressed in the dresses by fashion designers Jwala Raj Pokharel and Robin Pariyar.
