2072 will become the year of film sequels. Films, who made good business earlier, have announced to produce its sequels in coming year.
In this connection, the sequel of film Jholay was announced on Monday. The film that released on Falgun, 2070 was a hit at the box office.
Producer Teken Khadka and director Dipendra K Khanal said that script of the film is being written by Shaan Basnyat. Jholay sequel to be acted in lead role by Dayahang Rai, Priyanka Karki, and A Gurung among others. a new Actress will be introducing in the film.
“Script writing has started and the story will be a dark comedy as earlier,” director Khanal told Glamour Nepal, “Jholay-2 will start shooting after the shooting of ‘Pashupati Prasad’ concludes.”
‘Nai Nabhannu La-3’ releasing this year will keep record as longest sequel in Nepali film industry. Till now, producer are making sequel only after the film does good business.
Bindass-3, Bato Muniko Phool-2, Jholay-2, Kabaddi Kabaddi and Kismat-2 are new sequel on the cards.
