Miss Nepal 2026 Begins Its Next Phase After 78 Contestants Audition

Miss Nepal 2026 has moved into its next stage with 78 contestants appearing in auditions across Nepal. The Hidden Treasure has also announced the five judges for this year’s pageant.


The race for the Miss Nepal 2026 crown has entered an exciting new phase. After auditions in Kathmandu and several regional cities, 78 contestants have appeared before the selection team, while The Hidden Treasure has also revealed the five-member judging panel for this year’s pageant.

According to the latest report, more than 100 young women had applied for Miss Nepal 2026. From the audition round, 28 candidates will be selected. However, the official names of the selected candidates have not been announced yet.

Among those 28 candidates, only 24 finalists will later move forward to the main competition.

The Kathmandu audition was held on Tuesday at The Plaza in Lalitpur, where 60 contestants participated. Before the Kathmandu round, auditions were also organized in Nepalgunj, Pokhara, Birtamode, Janakpur, Itahari and Butwal.

The update has already created curiosity among pageant followers, as the announcement of the final 24 names will define the real race for the Miss Nepal 2026 crown.

The Hidden Treasure has also announced the judging panel for this year’s competition. The five judges are Rupesh Pradhan, choreographer Rachana Sharma, makeup artist Sakil Kunwar, fashion designer Ramila Nemkul and former Miss International Nepal and actress Niti Shah.

With experience from pageantry, fashion, beauty, grooming and entertainment, the judging panel is expected to play an important role in identifying the strongest contenders.

Miss Nepal 2026 is scheduled to take place on August 1, 2026, at The Plaza. The pageant continues to be one of Nepal’s most prominent platforms for young women interested in beauty, confidence, public speaking, advocacy and international representation.

For now, attention is focused on the upcoming announcement of the 28 selected candidates, followed by the selection of the final 24 finalists.
