Lyricist Dinesh Subedi has been accused of raping a nine-year-old girl. It is learnt the lyricist of song ‘Ghanti Bajyo…’ of film ‘Hawaldar Suntali’ Subedi was smeared with soot by villagers for raping a girl studying in class four. The song ‘Ghanti Bajyo…’ of the film Hawaldar Suntali is currently in hit list.

Also a teacher by profession, he has been accused of raping a girl studying at Seti Ganesh High School in Palung, Daman. Makwanpur Police informed that they lobbed tear gas to control the irate villagers.
According to the child, Subedi had appeased her not to inform others. But, the matter went public after the girl’s family knew the incident.
Subedi had written an item song for Karan Crazy’s film ‘Zanjeer’ Rekha Thapa’s ‘Himmatwali’ and Chhabiraj Ojha’s ‘Hawaldar Suntali’.
