7th of November Saturday, in ‘Speak to me’ a talk show by fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya via social media Facebook would explore the journey of Senior Model Choreographer and Media Person Kala Subba.
Almost 25 years in the fashion and modeling field, the lady with a voice that has continuously been entertaining as a RJ at Hits FM 91.2 MHZ, the popular name in modeling and media is Kala Subba. Born in Hongkong and brought up in Dharan is a trained in classical form dance Kathak, Been the part of Miss Nepal 1996, the lady was successful to earn the award ‘Miss Talent’. In 2000, she was awarded as the Best Female Model of the year in the event organized by The Ramp fashion and modeling agency. With her graceful catwalks and dazzling performance, the lady has always been successful to captivate the eyes of the viewer now and then.
Walked for several fashion shows, the lady has successfully transformed herself into a fashion choreographer and model guru. Choreographed more than hundred numbers of events including fashion shows and beauty pageants, Kala Subba has moved beyond national boundaries through the event ‘Miss Hong Kong Nepal’.
Dozens of stage appearances nationally and internationally as a freelance emcee, Kala Subba has been an iconic media person with experience from Television, Radio, and now at online media with a talk show ‘Udaan’ The talk show at Rubusha channel. RJ/VJ trainer, public speaking and personality development mentor, beauty pageant coach, music video director, she has been able to add more definitions to her name.
Kala Subba has also been the recipient of the Best VJ award, Journalism Award, and is the Peace ambassador for U.P.F.(Universal Peace Federation).
