A Hollywood film based on the romance between US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama is on the cards.
According to Times of India, the movie named ‘Southside with you’ will focus on the couple’s romance in 1988. The film will translate their romance from the first date in the film.
‘Get on Up’ actress Tika Sumpter will to play role of Michelle in the film by Homegrown Pictures production. The couple got married on October 3, 1992 after three years of dating. Richard Tanne will be directing the indie flick using the screenplay that he wrote. Tracey Bing and Stephanie Allain are producing. Filming is scheduled to begin in July on location in Chicago.
