Dhiraj & Miruna light up the screen again, Introducing Dikila Sherpa’s debut!
Nepali film ‘Kusti’, directed and produced by Anil Yonjan, is set to hit theaters this October (Asoj 9). Shot around Kathmandu, the release date was finalized after discussions with distributors and exhibitors.
‘Kusti’ tells a relatable love story, two people who cannot stay apart, yet struggle to stay together. Blending emotional depth with light humor, the film falls under the romantic comedy-drama genre.
The film stars Dhiraj Magar and Miruna Magar in lead roles, creating strong anticipation among audiences. The supporting cast includes Pushkar Gurung, Lunibha Tuladhar, Rabindra Jha, Kiran KC, and others.
One of the highlights is Deekila Sherpa, who makes her Nepali film debut. She recently made headlines as a Top 15 finalist and ‘Miss Multimedia’ winner at Miss India 2026, and is also known from MTV’s Splitsvilla.
The film is also gearing up for international release, with distribution talks in final stages in several countries.
