Divya Dev, Jharana and Suhana Star in Emotional Baa: Ek Yoddha
The official teaser of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Baa: Ek Yoddha’ has been released, offering an emotional glimpse into a once-happy family torn apart by an unexplained tragedy.
The teaser opens with the haunting line, “We had a small world of our own. Everything was destroyed.” Divya Dev Pant then appears outside his home, covered in blood from head to toe. His exhausted walk and devastated expression suggest that he has returned from a life-changing incident.
As he stands in front of the house, memories of his family begin to unfold. The early scenes show a warm and peaceful home, but the mood quickly changes as chaos takes over.
A daughter is seen running while calling for her father, family members appear terrified, and villagers rush through the area in panic. These brief but powerful visuals point to a major disaster, although the teaser does not reveal exactly what happened.
One of the most emotional moments comes with the dialogue, “Today is Father’s Day, but one father could not see his son’s face.” The line is followed by scenes of Divya Dev travelling in a vehicle and Jharana Thapa and Suhana Thapa crying together as mother and daughter.
The teaser builds its mystery around a central question: what destroyed this family?
Without revealing the cause of the tragedy, ‘Baa: Ek Yoddha’ promises a deeply emotional story about fatherhood, sacrifice, loss and the struggle to protect one’s family. The film is said to explore the sacrifices fathers make for their children’s future and the challenges they endure throughout their lives.
