Glamour Nepal, Kathmandu: ‘Baadshah’ shooting unit experienced a bitter experience behind the shooting spots. The vehicle carrying the shooting crew was almost washed away by the Shange Khola at Damauli.
Director Rishi Neupane, actors Mahima Silwal, Kishore Khanal and Dinesh KC, among other crew members, were inside the vehicle when it was swept away. The incident created a severe panic among the team. The vehicle was mired in the river for almost half hour created panic among the team members. The unit was crossing the river in a plan to shoot the mountain range across the river for the movie ‘Baadshah’.
Director Rishi informed that the vehicle was almost sub-merged into the river which frightened them very much. According to an eye witness, it would have been very difficult for the members inside the vehicles to get rid of the situation had the locals not come for the rescue.
Sushil Chhetri and Dipak Rai, among others, have also acted in the movie which has completed its almost 90 percent part of shooting. The movie has depicted the role of a ‘Baadshah’ in the society.
