In a quest of school going children called Rising Star 2017, Asal Adhikari from KMC School has been chosen as the winner.
The 9th graded student Asal became victorious among the seventy five of total participants. Apart from being winner of the event Asal was also successful at talent award.
He was awarded with cash prize of fifty thousand rupees. The event showcased at Nepal Academy Hall on 2nd of Baisakh 2074 was been organized by Creative world.
In the event Jesica Simkhada scored first runner-up in senior category while Priyamshu Thapa was chosen as first runner-up in junior category.
Likewise Anisha Poudel was elected as second runner-up in senior category while Sandhya K.C. scored second runner-up position in junior category. Anisha was also chosen as most confident while Sandhya scored most confident award.
