Anoop Bikram Shahi makes Bollywood debut with Salman Khan in Battle of Galwan
Actor Anoop Bikram Shahi has officially stepped into Bollywood with Salman Khan’s highly anticipated film Battle of Galwan. Sharing the big news through his social media, Shahi revealed that he has completed the first schedule of the movie’s shoot in Ladakh. The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under Salman Khan Films (SKF), one of Bollywood’s most powerful banners.
“Feeling truly honoured and grateful to have completed the first schedule of my debut Bollywood film in Ladakh, produced by SKF Films with Salman Khan sir and directed by Apoorva Lakhia sir. Excited for the journey ahead,” Anoop wrote, along with a few pictures from the set.
According to Indian media, Salman Khan has also wrapped up his portion of the Ladakh shoot and has returned to Mumbai.
Battle of Galwan is set against the real-life clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley on June 15, 2020. Salman Khan will be seen portraying an army officer in the film, which is already being hailed as one of the most awaited releases of 2026.
For Shahi, who is one of Nepal’s popular actors and a former Mr. Nepal titleholder, this Bollywood debut marks a milestone moment in his career. Fans from Nepal and India are eagerly waiting to see him share screen space with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
