The chief Jury of the event, well known singer Prabesh Man Shakya inquired about the main reason of participating in the event Miss Little Newa 1134. To this final question each of the top five finalists put on the best words they could. But the award winning answer was been given by Surma Dongol that made the student of Nirvana Academy to be elected as the winner of 9th season of Miss Little Newa event. As the winner of the event she was been awarded with cash prize worth rupees ten thousand and five. The event showcased at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi on 12th of October 2014 had twenty one little Newar beauties competing for the major award.
The event organized by Nepalese fashion home saw Muskan Chitrakar, student of Omega International High school as the first runner-ups whereas Loonibha Tuladhar, student of NIC Academy was awarded as the second runner-ups. The event was been choreographed by Rohiya Maharjan and the student designers of Namuna College of Fashion Technology were the wardrobe designers for the contestants.
