Comedy artist Deepa Shree Niraula commemorated her mother on Thursday providing food to elders at the Tinkune-based Nisahaya Briddhasram. On the occasion of 24th death anniversary of her mother, Deepa Shree fed 42 helpless elders at the elderly home.
“I mostly visit here on the death anniversary of my mother as it fills me with self-satisfaction,” she said while distributing food, “Felt joy by seeing bright face of these abandoned elders.” Geet Devi Niraula, mother of Deepa Shree, passed away at the age of 42 years due to Septicemia.
“Never imagined I would lose my mother untimely,” said Deepa Shree with tear-filled eyes, “Today I have everything, but don’t have a mother and the world is barren in her absence.” “If she was here, I would be happier for my achievements in life.” Deepa Shree visits the elderly home every year and meets helpless elders there. Remembers her mother, provide food to the elders. Celebrates happiness and tries to cherish. “Children can win every battle in the world if they are blessed by their parents,” she opines.
