26 years of age, a lass from Kathmandu has been officially declared as the delegate from Nepal to Miss Eco International 2022 being held in Egypt on the month of March 2022. Sophiya was crowned as Miss Eco International Nepal 2022 during the crowning ceremony hosted at The Strand Lounge and Bar, Battisputali, Kathmandu. Sophiya was been crowned by Miss Eco International Nepal 2020 and Miss Eco Asia 2020, Anushma Rayamajhi.
Miss Eco International Nepal is officially franchised by Green Arts Media Pvt. Ltd. and Anila Shrestha is the national director for the event. Since 2017 Green Arts Media is been authorized to finalize the delegate from Nepal to Miss Eco International. Since then, Ronali Amatya, Maunata Lama, Muna Gauchan, and Anushma Rayamajhi have successfully represented Nepal. So far Ronali has bagged Miss Congeniality while Muna stood as semi-finalist and Anushma bagged Miss Eco Asia award at their representations at Miss Eco International.
Five feet eight inches tall Sophiya earlier was been the part of Miss Nepal 2019 where she finished the event as one of the top 7 finalists and also represented as the premiere edition of Global Asian Model 2019 hosted in Manila, the Philippines in the year 2019. In the event, she was been one of the top ten finalists.
Miss Eco International is an international beauty contest founded by the LTCP Organization “BEAUTY FOR ECO” The aim is to awaken, through the theme of Tourism & Environment which started in the year 2015 in Egypt. It brings together representatives from all over the world with an aim to share their eco, culture, and international network.
