Nepal’s Sanvi Mandal Crowned Miss Wellness World 2026 in Bangkok

From Janakpur to an international stage in Bangkok, Sanvi Mandal has taken a striking new step in her pageant journey. The Nepali beauty has been crowned Miss Wellness World 2026, turning her rise from a Miss Nepal finalist into an international success story.

The grand finale was held on September 27 at Calypso Asiatique in Bangkok, Thailand, where Sanvi represented Nepal among an international line-up of contestants. The world final formed the centrepiece of a week of pageant activities focused on beauty, wellness, culture and personal expression.

For Sanvi, the crown arrives just a year after she stepped into Nepal’s national pageant spotlight.

Representing Janakpur, she competed as contestant number one at Miss Nepal 2025, eventually securing a place among the Top 12 finalists. Her appearance introduced audiences to a young woman whose interests stretched well beyond the runway from dance and fitness to singing, entrepreneurship and social advocacy. At the time of Miss Nepal, Sanvi was 22 and had completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. But what gave her pageant profile more depth was the way she approached the platform itself.

Her social initiative, “Faces of Hope: Transforming Lives, One Smile at a Time,” focused on supporting underprivileged children. During her Miss Nepal journey, she described the crown not as a final destination, but as the beginning of a larger mission to create positive and lasting impact.

That sense of purpose made Miss Wellness World a natural next chapter.

The international pageant carries the philosophy “Beauty With Wellness,” looking beyond conventional ideas of stage beauty to focus on three dimensions; Body, Mind and Spirit. Its concept combines physical wellbeing and presentation with emotional balance, self-awareness, personal values, leadership and contribution to society.

In other words, the crown is designed to represent more than a polished walk, an elegant gown or a confident answer under the lights.

Sanvi entered a competition where contestants were encouraged to bring their own ideas of wellness, culture and identity to the international stage.

That was especially visible during Wellness Culture Night in Bangkok, where contestants shared traditions and stories connected to food, family, nature, community, mental wellbeing and everyday ways of living well. The event brought different cultural interpretations of wellness together as part of the pageant experience.

The 2026 programme also included activities connected to health awareness and personal development. Thailand’s Department of Health took part in a Miss Wellness World Thailand event ahead of the finale under the same “Beauty With Wellness” concept, highlighting knowledge, personality development, healthy living and the idea of encouraging contestants to become positive wellness role models.

It gave this year’s international competition a character quite different from a traditional beauty contest.

And for Sanvi, it offered a stage that closely matched the image she had already begun building in Nepal, a contestant interested in fitness and creativity, but equally aware of what she wanted her visibility to represent.

A New International Crown for Nepal

When the final results were announced in Bangkok, Sanvi emerged with the Miss Wellness World 2026 crown, marking the biggest achievement of her pageant career so far.

Other major titles of the evening went to Jessica Lynum of Canada, named Miss Wellness World Eminence 2026; Nyota Bolongo of Switzerland, who received Miss Wellness World Prestige 2026; Sara Bahar of Morocco, named Miss Wellness World Prominence 2026; and Rennara Vitale of Italy, who secured Miss Wellness World Distinction 2026.

The international field itself reflected the pageant’s growing global reach, with contestants travelling to Thailand from countries across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas and beyond. Coverage ahead of the finale documented representatives from nations including Nepal, Canada, Switzerland, Morocco, Italy, India, South Korea, Malaysia, Nigeria, Australia and the United States among those participating in the 2026 edition.

Sanvi now follows the competition’s inaugural international winner, Jessica Trindade Bruxelas of Brazil, who held the Miss Wellness World 2025 title before the 2026 edition.

From Janakpur to the Global Stage

There is a satisfying progression to Sanvi Mandal’s story.

She entered Miss Nepal as a young representative from Janakpur, reached the Top 12, used that platform to speak about children and social responsibility, and continued moving forward rather than allowing one competition to define her pageant journey.

A year later, that journey has carried her to Bangkok and to an international crown.

For Nepal’s pageant scene, her victory adds another name to a growing generation of women taking the country onto international stages with increasingly diverse stories, backgrounds and causes.

For Sanvi personally, Miss Wellness World 2026 is likely to be remembered as the moment her journey moved beyond national recognition.
