Riya Lama has been successful to leave behind her twenty-four competitors and proved her intelligence, charm and confidence to be crowned as 16th season winner of Akaran Miss Tamang 2024. As the winner she received the cash prize of one lakh rupees. Riya also bagged miss talent award.
Likewise, Smriti Yonjan Tamang was chosen as first runner-up and earned cash prize of rupees fifty thousand while Amrita Lama Tamang was chosen as second runner-up and earned cash prize of rupees thirty thousand. Pemba Doma Tamang bagged third runner-up position and earned cash prize of rupees ten thousand. Amrita also bagged miss personality award while Pemba was awarded with miss multimedia award.
In the event Srijana Syangtan was chosen as miss photogenic, Mirma Tamang as best dress, Suveksha Lama as miss popular, Ashmi Syangtan Tamang as miss beautiful hair, Sabina Moktan as miss grace, Jyoti Tamang as miss best walk, Sarita Tamang as miss discipline, Lorean Yonjan as miss friendship and Yangshal Lama as best smile.
The event was organized by Ranjeeta Lama under the banner of Moms International Nepal was hosted at Rastriya Sabha Griha, Exhibition Road, Kathmandu. The event was choreographed by fashion choreographer and media person Rojin Shakya.
