Glamour Nepal, Kathmandu: It was on 27th of September 2014 when Ribbon Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. launched its first venture named as Nepal’s Face of the year 2014, an event targeted to the young ladies and Nepal’s Face of the year 2014, an event targeted to the school going children. The competition was showcased at Army officer’s club, Sundhara. The competition took off with the introductory round with different style. The style was little bit of dance moves by the contestants and then their self introduction. Second phase was the catwalk session where the young girls and the children walked their best to match the rhythm of the music and then performed for the oral question answer session.
From here onwards the finalists were been decided. 9 of the children both having boys and girls moved on the final round for Nepal’s Children of the year 2014 whereas six of the young girls got their placement in the final round for Nepal’s Face of the year 2014. Answering the best for the deciding question Rebika Pariyar clinched the title awards of Nepal’s Face of the year 2014 whereas Avin Guruwacharya was successful to be the winner of Nepals’ Children of the year 2014.
In the event choreographed by Aswini Jha, Suwani Pradhan and Alisha Thapaliya were been elected as the first and second runner-ups respectively for Nepal’s Face of the year category. In the children category Utsah Tamang and Shruti Shah became first and second runner-ups girls respectively whereas Kovid Bhusan Pathak and Utsav Shah were been chosen as first and second runner-ups boys respectively.
