The grand coronation night of Miss Earth 2014 is very close and things are just getting competitive. The good news is that Miss Nepal Earth 2014 Prinsha Shrestha has won Miss Earth Forum’s People Choice Award. According to the face book update of the related event, Miss Earth Forum has already awarded the PLAQUE to Prinsha. Earlier to this Prinsha Shrestha won the Eco Beauty Video Title Award at the Miss Earth Pageant 2014. She was the continental winner for that segment.
The Project title is Everest Potato Pancake, adding on the menu and she was honored with this award for her efforts to promote and bring together local farming with tourism in the Himalayas, in order to boost the economic growth of the locals, and hopefully alleviate poverty through inclusive eco tourism.
The entire ten day project was been sponsored by Yeti Airlines, Yeti Mountain Homes and Thamserku Trekking. The video was been directed by Mr. Shree Gurung (PN Multimedia). This is his second effort being awarded. The earlier one was the video of Miss Nepal World 2013 – Ishani Shrestha which bagged Beauty with a Purpose Award at Miss World 2013. The Picture attached has Mr. Subarna Chhetri, Director, The Hidden Treasure and Mr. Sudarshan K. Khadka, the Head of Nepalese Council in the Philippines. Prinsha will be involved in a lot of activities (post pageant) to strengthen the bond between Nepal and Philippines with Mr. Khadka’s support.

Prinsha is also in competitive position in other major category as well. This is Yahoo beauty for a cause. This category of award is related to Miss Earth 2014 conducted by Yahoo Philippines titled as Yahoo Beauty for cause. To help raise online support for the 85 candidates, it is conducting the online poll called Yahoo Beauty for a Cause.
